For Latino Heritage Month 2015, MuslimARC brings you a new panel:#LatinoMuslims Part 2.

We're continuing the conversation started last year, with the online "Being Latino Muslim" panel with Hazel Gomez, Mujahid Fletcher, and Yarehk Hernandez. The aim of #LatinoMuslims 2016 is to continue to amplify Latino narratives and highlighting issues that are of concern to Latino communities, Muslim and non-Muslim. 

This conversation will address transnational Latino Muslim identities - as well as efforts to uproot anti-Latino racism in Muslim communities - and promote awareness about multi-ethnic multifaith coalitions to address issues that affect the Latino community such as immigrant rights and mass incarceration. 

We'll feature four Latinos from diverse backgrounds to speak on Latino identity, Muslim Latinos, and coalition building around immigration rights and mass incarceration, among other issues.
